After that, I transitioned into financial services as a Freight Payment Analyst at GlobalTranz. The chapter Learning About Money Cooperatives: The Modern Juntas in Peru - examines the global phenomenon of rotating savings and credits associations (ROSCAs) in Lima, Peru. The research highlights the women who constructed this informal financial institution because they were rejected from utilizing standard financial instruments. The research follows a quasi-experimental design methodology to identify vital impact ROSCAs have on Peruvian women’s financial participation. On an individual level, the process of conducting research improved my academic writing skills and further intrigued my understanding of the development of analyzing data and understanding economic models of the financial world and pursuing career in finance.
